BulSU PMES is a system to assess and improve the performance of individual offices and departments within an organization of Bulacan State University.

Innovation

The university was using a paper-based form system, and our task was to digitize this process. During that internship, I was responsible for designing and developing the system architecture. Throughout this project, our goal was to enhance efficiency and accuracy in performance assessments while providing a user-friendly interface for all departments.

App Tour

I added an app tour feature to help users, as many of them are older and less familiar with technology. This guided tour highlighted key features and made it easy for users to understand and navigate the application. By including this app tour, I ensured that all users could effectively use the system with minimal learning effort.

Gilroy with the combination of Inter for this design contribute to a modern, clean, and user-friendly aesthetic. These sans-serif typefaces add a contemporary feel to the project while improving readability and accessibility. They are simple and spacious, with subtle details that keep the design visually appealing.

Conclusion

I had a happy and once of the best experiences of my life during this internship. I am grateful for the good leadership because under my management, we completed the entire system in just two and a half months.

As the lead front-end developer and lead UI/UX designer, this project significantly boosted my experience. Nearing the project's end, I felt ready to enter the industry and confident in my abilities. I immediately applied and got hired by a US-based company as a mid-level web designer.

Special thanks to my team members, David, Jazpher, Rigel, and Wilmer, for being excellent teammates, which allowed us to form a great team.
